About

The Program

Building upon the momentum of the past nine years of producing lectures and forums with The Cable Center (www.cablecenter.org), the goal is to continue offering unprecedented access to top cable and digital TV executives for college students, and vice versa. Over 5,000 students, representing over 100 colleges and universities across the U.S., and 100 media executives have participated in recent years. We’re excited to engage a new audience for the 2013 program.

Mission

To create an authentic connection of media leaders, cable and beyond, with the best and brightest college students and recent grads

To produce a forum where executives share their paths to their current positions, and provide insights and opportunities into the innovative and fast-moving industry, and;

To develop the leading on-line resource for students, including a robust list of job and internship links, articles and candid guest commentary.

Dolly Wolf, Owner

Dolly Wolf: OwnerWith over 19 years in the cable telecommunications industry, Dolly is a successful, experienced project manager, event manager, and program director. Dolly worked as the Director of Academic & Industry Outreach for The Cable Center for nine years during which she created and successfully managed four annual 'signature' programs for The Center as well as multiple special events, including recruiting dozens of high-visibility speakers (entrepreneurs, C-Level thought-leaders, scholars) and achieving substantial media coverage of each event.

Other responsibilities within the cable industry have included: program planning and scheduling. She has supervised multiple analog domestic and international channels, acquired original content and special events.
