Stephen J. Kimmerling is a business development, marketing, and educational programming executive with a prominent, international law firm. He also provides client advice, business development, and management services for the firm’s Cuba Practice. Prior roles include serving Senator Bob Kerrey as Director of Public Programming in the Office of the President at the New School. In that position, he developed high-level programs focused on leading global and domestic affairs and featuring top political, cultural, and intellectual figures. Earlier, he was Co-Director of the Department of Conference Programming for the Direct Marketing Association, a 4,000-member international trade association, where he created and managed their U.S. and Latin America conferences. He also served the New York University School of Law as Cuba Conferences Director, where he designed and organized conferences on U.S.-Cuba relations and Cuban affairs. He holds a J.D. from the New York University School of Law and is fluent in Spanish.
