Session - Behind the Scenes with Key Players Who Are Creating Diverse Content Experiences
In her role as Head of Network, Bonnie manages the strategy and programming for all video and editorial content across AwesomenessTV’s YouTube channel, all social video platforms and all owned and operated platforms including Awesomeness News. Bonnie joined AwesomenessTV in July 2017.

Prior to joining AwesomenessTV, Pan was the President of Endemol Shine North America’s digital division, Endemol Beyond USA. At Endemol Shine Beyond, Pan produced CAPTURING EVEREST the first ever bottom to top climb of Mount Everest in Virtual Reality. She brokered the distribution deal to Time Inc. as part of their Life VR platform that debuted at Sundance Digital Storytelling in 2016. She also was responsible for the holiday music special KEYS OF CHRISTMAS, directed by Dave Meyers for YouTube Red with Mariah Carey, DJ Khaled, Rudy Mancuso and more. Under Pan’s leadership Endemol Shine Beyond developed multiple female driven scripted comedy projects and music performance series.

Before joining Endemol Shine Beyond USA, Pan was Executive Vice President of Programming at Maker Studios, where she was responsible for original series in the Gaming, Lifestyle, Family and Entertainment categories. While with Maker, Pan oversaw the development and distribution strategy on more than 70 scripted and unscripted series, including a ground-breaking deal with History Channel for late night comedy programming. She also spearheaded strategic partnerships with Maker Labs creators including James Franco, Will.i.am, Robert Kirkman and David Alpert, Morgan Spurlock and more to co-create and develop content for digital environments. Her series, WHAT WE TEACH GIRLS with Morgan Spurlock and Jeremy Chilnick debuted at Sundance Digital Storytelling in 2015.

Prior to her role with Maker Studios, Pan led original programming efforts at Yahoo! from 2007-2014. Bonnie received her M.F.A. in Theatre Management and Producing from Columbia University and her B.A. in Theatre from Catholic University. She serves on the NextTV Summit programming committee and was recently honored as an Industry Leader in Content by Cynopsis for 2017 Top Women in Digital.
