Mackenzie Barth is the cofounder of Spoon University and currently oversees content creation and monetization at the company. Mackenzie cofounded Spoon with Sarah Adler in 2013 while undergrads at Northwestern and has since grown the network to 250 chapters that create content and experiences around food and wellness. Mackenzie helped raise $2.5M from top VCs in New York and San Francisco before Spoon was acquired by Scripps Networks Interactive in May of 2017. While in college, Mackenzie majored in communication studies, with a minor in psychology and an integrated marketing communications certificate from Medill.
