Rosa Mendez-Galicia
Rosa Mendez-Galicia

As a first generation student my parents always taught me to never give up on what I truly want in life. Growing up in this country where everything is achievable, once you made it your goal, anything is possible. Having my parents teach me the value of hard work and dedication I have the pleasure of saying I got into film school. Although, it was a huge mile stone, I did face challenges that forced me to drop out. Even though it seemed like a devastating loss, I learned that there is always room for improvement. Almost every successful person begins with two beliefs: the future can be better than the present and that they have the power to make it so. With that being said, my goal and passion is to represent Hispanics in the motion picture industry. One Day Immersion gives me the great opportunity to get inspired and motivated. I am very grateful for this exceptional opportunity and to be one step closer to my goal by having media executives to learn and listen from.
