As Chief Program Officer and SVP of Development at The Cable Center, Diane Christman is responsible for creating, cultivating, and maintaining strategic relationships and partnerships between The Center and its financial supporters and key donors. She is also responsible positioning the organization through its mission-based programs, brand and marketing strategy, and public outreach. Diane oversees business development and fundraising, driving all revenue-generating programs.

Since she joined The Cable Center in 2006, Diane has created The Center's $10 million Chairman's Fund endowment campaign. She has solidified partnerships supporting The Cable Center's Mavericks Lecture Series and Cable Center Customer Centric Consortium (C5) initiatives. Finally, she has spearheaded successful Cable Hall of Fame events each year, securing the funding for The Center’s mission-based programs.

Diane has held professional nonprofit leadership positions since 1990. Before joining The Cable Center, she was Director of Advancement and Communication at The Denver Public Library, where she led the Library's fundraising, promotions, marketing, and public relations programs for six years. She also served as the Library’s Director of Development for two years. She was responsible for successful fundraising activities including the Library's signature event, the Booklover's Ball, as well as a variety of high-impact community outreach programs.

Diane was with the Denver Dumb Friends League, Humane Society of Denver, Inc., from 1993 to 1998. As Director of Development from 1995-1998, she secured grants, individual contributions, and corporate donations. She also developed the League's most successful special event, the Furry Scurry.

Previously, she was Executive Director of the Lupus Foundation of America, North Texas Chapter in Dallas. Diane has held positions with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Chapter in Ft. Worth, and with the Arthritis Foundation's Alabama Chapter, Southeast Branch.

Diane has served on the board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and was president of the organization's Colorado Chapter. She is an active volunteer and former board member of Women in Cable Telecommunications Rocky Mountain Chapter. She has served on the board of Fast Forward to Literacy, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating home libraries and promoting family reading for economically disadvantaged children in the Denver area.

Diane holds a master’s degree in Mass Communication from the University of Denver and a bachelor of arts in Speech Communication from Colorado State University. She lives in Denver with her husband and daughter and enjoys traveling, skiing, and reading. She is an aspiring artist and drummer.
