Bernadine Han is Group Vice President, Political Content & Development for Spectrum Networks, a series of 24/7 news and sports networks owned and operated by Charter Communications.
In this role, Ms. Han will expand political coverage for Spectrum Networks across the country following the success of the “In Focus” franchise, a public affairs program. She will build a team of beat reporters assigned to cover key state congressional delegations and work toward special growth and development projects for Spectrum Networks.
Ms. Han joined Time Warner Cable in 1992 when NY1 debuted and remained with Charter when its transactions with Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks were completed in 2016. She has served in several roles for the company, including most recently as Group Vice President, News Northeast. She joined the staff at NY1 in 1992 as a writer before a series of promotions to Producer, Senior Producer, Assistant News Director, News Director, Vice President and Group Vice President of News & Local Programming for Time Warner Cable’s Local News Division in New York, Texas and California.
Ms. Han was honored by Women in Cable Telecommunications as a Woman to Watch in 2013, a distinction reserved for women who show promise of transforming the industry.
She received a B.A. in English and political economics from Columbia University’s Barnard College.
