Session: Spectrum Networks Presents: Locally Grown, Thriving in the Local News Space
Alison Hellman oversees content and product strategy, research, and marketing for Spectrum Networks’ 31 local news channels in markets across the country, including its two Southern California-based regional sports networks, which have exclusive rights to games from the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Dodgers.
Hellman’s team consists of over 160 full-time employees, and she is responsible for collaboration across the Charter Communications organization with Government Affairs, Spectrum Reach, and other internal divisions.
Alison joined Charter Communications in 2016 from The Madison Square Garden Company, where she most recently served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Promotion for MSG Networks Inc. At MSG Networks, Hellman also worked as Vice President of Distribution Marketing and Operations for MSG Media and Director of Marketing Solutions.
Hellman began her career at Rainbow Media in 2004 as a marketing coordinator. She earned her American Studies degree from George Washington University and lives with her family in Westchester, New York.
