Courtney is currently the chief of staff to the CMO of YouTube, leading cross-functional strategy, communications, and people initiatives for YouTube’s global marketing organization. She has previously held roles dedicated to building YouTube’s subscription business through partner marketing and driving YouTube’s commitments to amplify the voices of Black creators, artists, and their stories on the platform. Prior to YouTube, Courtney worked in Global Partnerships at Google, first managing online video and gaming publishers and later driving media & entertainment strategy initiatives across product areas. Outside of Google, she has worked in various marketing, strategy, and partnerships roles at Disney, Paramount, NBCUniversal, and the Ad Council. Personally, Courtney is passionate about creating spaces where people feel both safe and seen, which has translated into personal commitments to recruiting, mentorship, and efforts to increase representation in media. Courtney has an MBA from Columbia Business School and a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University.

Alise Morales is a comedy writer and performer based in Brooklyn, NY. Alise is currently the writer of the Betches Sup newsletter, and co-host of the Betches Sup podcast. Her writing has been featured in Flexx Mag, Reductress, Above Average, PureWoW, Betches and more. In 2012 she was a featured standup in MTVU's College Quickies series and was a member of the video sketch trio Horrible Insane Girl, which premiered on IFC's Comedy Crib in May 2015. In 2016, Alise was one of the winners of the NBC/UCB Diversity Scholarship Showcase, and her series Triffany & Briffney was an official comedy selection for 2016's New York TV Fest. Alaka serves as Senior Vice President of People & Culture at Discovery, Inc. She is responsible for the HR leadership of the company’s U.S.-based lifestyle networks by providing organizational, leadership and individual performance counsel to various business units, facilitating change and transition with these units through the assessment, design, facilitation and implementation of appropriate organizational intervention and being in touch with employee needs and human resources communities and systems for her 500+ employee customers.
In addition to her professional work, she’s also involved in the Emma Bowen Foundation’s Youth and Young Professionals program and the Year Up program in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. She serves as a mentor in Discovery’s MentorNet program and in the WICT Southeast Chapter’s Student Mentoring Program as well as the T. Emory Walton III is Vice President, Content Distribution at A+E Networks. With 20+ years of experience within the cable television and entertainment industry, Walton is one of A+E Network’s distribution team leaders, overseeing business strategy and relationships with U.S. and International based content distributors. He leads his team with a focus on communication, collaboration, accountability, and diversity.
His role involves negotiating long-term carriage agreements across an array of content platforms for A+E’s dynamic portfolio of television networks including A&E, History, Lifetime, and VICE TV. He’s also a member of A+E’s Multicultural Insights Team, which is responsible for advising on and promoting multicultural programming and consumer reach across each of the A+E brands.
He has been recognized as one of the ‘Most Influential Executives for Diversity and Inclusion in Media’ and honored as a ‘NAMIC Luminary’ which recognizes business leaders in the media and entertainment industry for their career successes and commitment to fostering diversity in the workplace. He also is a recipient of the WICT (Women in Cable and Television) Advocate Leader Award.
Emory received a BA in Communications Studies with a specialization in Business from UCLA. He also received an MBA from LMU and was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma; the international honor society for business schools. Her most recent award winning work includes leading the portfolio work across the Coca-Cola Connections Studio Content Management team for the past 3 and half years. Mika recently transitioned to HERSHEY’S and USPS accounts sweetening the world with meaningful moments. Both teams oversee the media content that extends across general market to key multi-cultural audiences and under her leadership the team has reimagined engaging with more diverse audiences through various mediums to cultivate deeper connections. Mika also serves on UM’s Diversity & Belong Council where she aims to inspire the UM community togetherness through cultural belonging. In her free time, her passion points include volunteering with The Gye Nyame Empowerment Project (GNEP), doodling fashion illustrations and trying new foods while jet setting. Three Uncanny Four
Nuna Charafeddine is the Director of Operations at the podcast company Three Uncanny Four, a joint venture with Sony Music Entertainment, where she focuses on optimizing and improving processes for both content and business production in alignment with strategic goals.
Nuna has over 15+ years of experience in the media industry beginning as an intern maintaining portfolios at a small NY photo agency to growing video production start-ups from a few people domestically to 40+ employees internationally. She has previously worked at such places as Zero Point Zero, The Wall Street Journal, and Warner Media, fulfilling anywhere from field producer roles to being a talent casting assistant or live show producer.
Now, she leaves behind the days of the cold control room and dark edit suites and hopes to bring far more empathy and kindness to the industry; in addition to being with Three Uncanny Four, she now pursues her MS in Clinical Counseling after receiving her BFA in Photography.
Nuna can sip mint tea on a balcony in Beirut with the best of them but now lives in Queens with her partner and cat, where espresso on a stoop can be just as sweet.

Formerly, Tanner was the Senior Vice President and General Manager of CBS Interactive Media, a group of premier entertainment brands. Tanner joined CBS Interactive through the company’s acquisition of TV Guide Digital, where as CEO she transformed the business for an on-demand, streaming audience. She previously held executive positions with The Washington Post Company, Wolters Kluwer and Reed Elsevier.

Of Texas provenance and a bicoastal upbringing in California and New Jersey, Yunah Chung is a Korean American storyteller. After graduating from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts as a film & TV major, she cut her teeth at CAA followed by MTV where she witnessed words on a page turn into pixels on a screen as a scripted series development and current programming assistant. Her lifelong love of Korean cinema (which began long before the Parasite hype, mind you) naturally led her to blogging about it online over at Dramabeans.com where a global community of K-drama fans continue to engage in thoughtful and enthusiastic discourse. In early 2017, Yunah was selected for an inaugural comedy screenwriting fellowship from Whoop Inc. (Whoopi Goldberg’s production company) and Mana Contemporary. Unable to shake her interest in global cinema, she also developed content at Infinite Studios (local producer of Crazy Rich Asians) while completing her dual international MBA degrees in Singapore and Tokyo. Currently, she is developing “sticky” animated and live action content at 9 Story Media Group in New York as a Development Coordinator.
Proudly hailing from Eastern and Western Upstate New York, Crystal Williams is the assistant to the 9 Story Development Team in NYC. She’s a passionate storyteller with a heart for issues surrounding community, representation, and building the next generation of kids. Crystal’s background is rooted in broadcasting and audio engineering. Before receiving her Master’s degree in television at Syracuse University, she was a news producer for Spectrum News and went on to work in television and movie distribution at iNDEMAND. In 2015, she was accepted into Norway’s prestigious post-grad fellowship, specializing in documentary and sound design. She loves writing and playing with her new camera, swimming, snowboarding, flying planes, and just about any life-threatening, crazy activity.

As Vice President, Digital for Spectrum Networks, Katie Lombardi oversees content strategy, editorial execution and product development across Spectrum Networks digital properties, including its websites, apps and social media profiles. Leading a team of 100+ digital content creators and product managers, Katie is responsible for driving innovation and building the Networks’ understanding of its consumers’ platform preferences for which discrete content is being created.

Prior to joining Charter in 2016, Katie worked at MSG Networks Inc. and The Madison Square Garden Company in various digital and marketing roles.
