TJ is a Strategic Partnership Development Manager in Google’s Global Ads Partnership group, where he focuses on global ad planning partnerships. TJ builds and maintains partnerships that ensure information on Google’s media is available and accurately represented to ad planners across the ad economy.
Before joining Google, TJ spent 8 years at Viacom, home of MTV, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon and other global media brands. He started in a creative agency and strategy group within MTV where he worked on marketing strategies for Chevy, Snapchat, Playboy, and Goldman Sachs. In his final 2 years at Viacom, TJ negotiated content distribution deals with social media platforms, including Facebook, Snapchat, and Twitter.
Prior to joining Viacom, he worked as a media buyer, negotiating TV buys for a portfolio of global brands. Before his career in media, he started and operated a small, environmentally friendly t-shirt printing shop, the only business of its kind in New York at the time. He also held analyst positions at the Royal Bank of Scotland, a global investment bank, and Caribbean Cinemas, the largest motion picture exhibitor in the Caribbean.
TJ holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania, where he studied Economics and Film, and graduated with honors from The Wharton School's MBA program. He lives in Brooklyn.
