Chris D. Ramos
Chris D. Ramos, Executive Director for Arts Entertainment Management Program, holds a Clinical Assistant Professor position at Pace University, New York. Mr. Ramos is a Pace University graduate with a Master of Public Administration degree in Nonprofit Management where he received the awards of Outstanding Graduate Student of the Year and MPA Academic Achievement. Mr. Ramos obtained other academic degrees including Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Theatre from University of Hawaii at Manoa and Associate of Science in Accounting from Kapiolani Community College. Other awards received include BFA Distinction Award and Yasuki Sasa Award.
As an artist, Mr. Ramos has performed, choreographed and directed a small dance company from 1996 through 2002 in the tri-state area. From 2000 through 2003, Mr. Ramos has served as an artist-in-residence for New Jersey States Council for the Arts and taught arts education program for grade schools throughout New Jersey and New York. In addition, Mr. Ramos has worked with Asia Society and UNESCO in putting together cultural events at the United Nations General Assembly.
Mr. Ramos is currently volunteering as Dance Ambassador for Battery Dance Company (www.batterydance.org) and actively involved with New York City Arts-Education Round Table (www.nyaieroundtable.org) where he serves as panel reviewer for its Annual Face to Face Conference held in New York City area.
