Ali Demir
Ali Demir

Ali was born and raised in Turkey until the age of 17, then decided to continue his education in The United States where he could experience his freewill without worrying. When he was 16, he was elected as one of the most successful out of a thousand Turkish students in a nation -wide certification. In high school, he spent my spare time with elementary school students as their mentor where stressed the importance of helping others and emphasized universal human values. When he got into college, he did the same thing for high school students. He is currently double majoring at Northern Virginia Community College, in the Spring will be graduating with an AS in Computer Science and an AS in Electrical Engineering. Ali feels so dignified to be elected for ODI as a NOVA representative and wants to express his special gratitude to Dolly Wolf and Pace University for supporting and hosting this fascinating event.

Alyssa Denton

Alyssa Denton is so honored to be back as a Student Star this year but now for Pace! She currently studies Arts and Entertainment Management with a minor in marketing. After graduating she plans on using her degree to pursue a career in marketing for theater and other performing art forms. The past two semesters she’s been blessed to have been able to get her foot in the door by interning at The Pekoe Group and Marathon Digital. She is so glad to be continuing with ODI at this year as she knows how valuable all of these incredible opportunities are, and can’t wait to see where ODI can take her and the rest of the participants this year!

Amal Ahmed
Amal Ahmed

Amal Ahmed is first generation Somali born in Madison, Wisconsin. She is a second-year student at Northern Virginia Community College. She is currently majoring Communications and minoring in Journalism. She hopes to get into the field of Public Relations while also pursuing her passion of writing. Amal has her own blog in which she speaks on various topics in society such as Mental Illness in the Somali Community, Social media and many more. She hopes to use her education to give back to her country and aid her people. Her passion of social media is exactly why she is so grateful to be taking part in One Day Immersion. She can’t wait for the chance to put her skills to the test and to gain more experience in successful leader.

Austin Kreitler
Austin Kreitler

Austin is currently a senior at Pace University in the Lubin School of Business majoring in Arts & Entertainment Management with a minor in Marketing. Originally from Arizona, Austin has been interested in entertainment since he was a child and hopes to someday work in the theatre industry in either general management, producing, or marketing. Currently, Austin is a member of the Brand Marketing Team at Pace University and is an Usher at the Schimmel Center. His passion for the theatre arts have landed him internships at well-known Off-Broadway theatre companies, Atlantic Theater Company and The New Group. Austin is very excited to be a part of the One Day Immersion team and to meet others who share the same interests and passions as him.

Brittany Schneider

Brittany is a junior at Pace University in the Lubin School of Business. Double majoring Arts and Entertainment Management and Quantitative Business Analysis, she aspires to be an analytic specialist within the entertainment industry. To stay active on campus, Brittany participates in numerous organizations at Pace. She is the VP of In-House Content for Pace University’s Marketing Association (PUMA) and a second-year ODI Student Star, as well as a member of The Industry Network for Arts and Entertainment Management, the Leadership Engagement Action Program (LEAP), and The National Society of Leadership and Success (Sigma Alpha Pi). Her passion for the music and entertainment industries have landed her internships at Big Beat/Atlantic Records, 300 Entertainment, and Downtown Music Publishing. Currently, she is working at Warner Music Group/Atlantic Records as a YouTube Optimization Consultant within their Digital Department. Brittany is thrilled to be a part of the 2018 One Day Immersion Team.

One Day Immersion Student Star Co-Lead
Cayley is currently a senior at Pace University majoring in Arts and Entertainment Management with a minor in Special Events Marketing. She has become very involved throughout the Pace community as the President of the Industry Network for Arts and Entertainment Management and a peer leader. Cayley interned this summer at Disney Theatrical Group in their touring department working on the national touring productions of Aladdin, Lion King, and Frozen (coming soon). She is also the executive assistant to the President of KPA Talent Management and Production, New York City’s top management agency for multi-ethnic talent. Cayley one day hopes to be the CEO of The Walt Disney Company. She is very excited to be a part of the One Day Immersion team for her second time, helping co-lead the student stars with Jake Cameron.

Christine Lanzilotta

Christine is currently a Junior at Pace University in the Lubin School of Business. She is pursuing a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Human Resource Management with a minor in Psychology. During her time at Pace thus far, Christine has become extremely involved, dedicating herself to leadership. She has served as Peer Leader, an Orientation Leader and the Senior Orientation Leader for Pace’s Student Development & Campus Activities Center. In addition, she currently works as a PALS Tour Guide at the University’s Welcome Center and as a Resident Assistant for the Office of Housing and Residential Life. Outside of work, Christine is the Treasurer of the Industry Network for Arts & Entertainment Management and a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. Christine is honored to be a part of the 2018 One Day Immersion Team for the second year in a row and looks forward to a successful event!

Clara Chapoton

Clara Chapoton is an international student from France, currently studying her last year at Northern Virginia Community College. She is pursuing a Business Administration degree to transfer to a four-year university. She came in the U.S three years ago and fall in love with American culture. She is grateful to be able to go back to school after two years of being an AuPair. During her free time, Clara is volunteering in an animal shelter. Her goal is to work in a management firm were she could enjoy the responsibility of directing a group of people. One Day immersion is an opportunity to explore different type of careers and be in contact with professional who inspired her. She is so excited to be a part of it.

Colleen McGovern
Colleen McGovern

Colleen is currently a sophomore at Pace University, majoring in Arts & Entertainment Management. She has become very involved at Pace by raising funds for the school at the calling center and also serving as the Secretary of The Industry Network for Arts & Entertainment Management. The Massachusetts native first started out on the creative side of the industry, by signing to Take 3 Talent for acting and EMG Models for modeling. This helped her discover her passion for the business side of the entertainment world. Colleen is very excited to join the One Day Immersion team and meet others with the same passions are her.

Emily Latshaw

Emily is a sophomore at Pace University majoring in Arts and Entertainment Management with a minor in Special Events Marketing. A Pforzheimer Honors College student, she is involved with the Industry Network, a volunteer for ASPIRE, and a member of Sigma Delta Tau. Emily spent her summer working at Algonquin Arts Theatre in New Jersey as Camp Administrator and a Teaching Artist for a Musical Theatre Improv class. She wants to pursue a career in arts and entertainment event planning and management. She grew up by the Jersey shore, is passionate about musical theatre, and loves to perform. Emily is honored to be a part of the 2018 One Day Immersion team and is excited for the day’s events!

Fahad Alsubaie

Fahad Alsubaie was born in Saudi Arabia. He wants to be an electrical engineer, so he came to the United States because of their exceptional Educational Institutions. He is glad that he had been chosen to represent Nova at this event. Because of that he thanks Nova and Dolly Wolf for this great opportunity. Fahad believes that meeting new people in this event will help him to learn from their experiences. Finally, he is going to do his best in this spectacular event. He is excited to be using his fourth language, English.

Isabel Bonebrake
Isabel Bonebrake

Isabel Bonebrake is in her senior year at New York University. In December, she will be graduating with honors with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in the Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology. She currently interns at Comedy Central in their Programming Strategy department. Over the summer, she worked at Screen Media Ventures as a Digital Platform assistant. She specifically spent this internship working on the company’s ad-supported streaming service, Popcornflix. Prior to Screen Media, she worked in various tech startups. Isabel aspires to work in television, and specifically a role that will let her utilize both her analytical as well as her creative skills. Isabel is thrilled to be a member of the 2018 One Day Immersion Team!

Jake Cameron
Jake Cameron

One Day Immersion Student Star Co-Lead
Jake is currently a senior at Pace University in the Lubin School of Business, pursuing a major in Arts & Entertainment Management and a minor in Marketing. During his time at Pace University, he’s held internships at Fast Company, NBCU, Viacom, and is currently working at Disney ABC. He’s held roles in Integrated Marketing, Sales, New Business Development, and International Content Distribution. While at Pace, Jake has held accomplished roles as President of the Industry Network for Arts & Entertainment Management, Treasurer of Pace Hillel, and Business Manager of the Pace Press. Jake has also been a part of the past 3 years of One Day Immersion, including also serving as Student Star Co-Lead last year. He thanks Dolly and the rest of the ODI team for an amazing four years of enhancement in media and technology!

Jonna Hagglund
Jonna Hagglund

Jonna is an international student from Sweden, currently studying her last year at Pace University. With a major in Arts and Entertainment Management, Jonna has during her years at Pace been actively involved in The Industry Network for Arts and Entertainment Management. There, she has worked as a Graphic Designer and recently, Marketing Director. With a wide background in the performing arts, she is looking to combine her performance skills with her business skillset. One of her dream jobs in the future is to become a casting director for theatre and film. Having attended ODI twice before, Jonna is excited to finally join the team as a Star Student for this year’s event.

Julia Coloso

Julia is a Senior at Pace University, majoring in Business Economics with a minor in Arts and Entertainment Management. In addition to her membership in Kappa Delta Sorority, she serves as Vice President of Pace’s Panhellenic Council. This past summer she completed a Digital Accounts Associateship at Warner Music Group and is currently interning at Viacom on the Music and Media Licensing team. Upon graduation, Julia hopes to further her career within the music industry. She is both excited and grateful for the opportunity to once again be a part of the One Day Immersion team.

MarissaAnn Rizzitello

MarissaAnn is a transfer junior at Pace University pursuing a BBA in Arts and Entertainment Management with a minor in Marketing. With just one year under her belt at Pace, she has already become super active on campus. As Vice President of the Industry Network Club and Secretary of the Advertising Club, MarissaAnn has enjoyed helping like-minded students connect and learn about the industry. Along with maintaining a 3.87 GPA and interning in the entertainment industry, she is an artist who has been seen on NBC’s The Voice, Good Day New York, Madison Square Garden Network, and more. Currently, she is working at Informa as a Marketing Coordinator for the events marketing department. MarissaAnn is very passionate about Pace University and the opportunities it brings… including this one! She is so grateful and excited to be a part of One Day Immersion as a 2018 Student Star.

Melanie Martinez
Melanie Martinez

Melanie is a freshman at Northern Virginia Community College studying Automotive Engineering. She works with her dad on cars when she is not studying or working on other activities for school. She is a native of the Long Island area in New York but currently resides in Washington, DC.

Melanie knows that One Day Immersion will give her the opportunity to have a better understanding of business and the entertainment industry. She also hopes to build new relationships. She is looking for direction and believes that ODI is a great opportunity to help her along her journey. She might one day hope to have her own shop.This will be Melanie’s first year participating in the event and she is truly grateful Dolly Wolf Enterprises and to PACE and NOVA for letting her take part in this phenomenon!

Nasser Alsubaie
Nasser Alsubaie

Nasser Alsubaie is a sophomore at Northern Virginia Community college where he majors in Political Science. He was born and raised in Saudi Arabia but he moved to Virginia in order to pursue his academic goals. By the spring of 2019, he will receive his associate degree from NOVA. He hopes to pursue a degree in Law and is very interested in American Judicial System.He views himself as a realist and believes that hope and dedication are the most realistic ways to achieve one's goals. He want to thank Dolly Wolf, Pace University, and Northern Virginia Community College for giving him the chance to participate in One Day Immersion. He can't wait to learn from the experiences of leading executives and talented students.

Nicholas Rittner
Nicholas Rittner

Nicholas Rittner (or Nick) is a design student at NOVA and a fine artist on the side. He enjoys road trips, hiking, and the occasional adventure. He enjoys making his world bigger by experiencing new things. More than anything though, Nick loves to meet new people. Everyone likes to learn, but Nick finds making new friends to be the most fantastic learning process there is. He hopes that One Day Immersion will allow him to meet plenty of interesting people, and widen his world just a little bit more. He is excited and appreciative of the opportunity and hopes to serve well.

Orlando Cabrera
Orlando Cabrera

Orlando is a transient student at Northern Virginia Community College, transferring to George Mason University in the spring semester. A second-generation Cuban-American, Orlando hopes to make a career in political communications and public policy. As an intern in Congress and various non-profit organizations, he has worked on issues relating to veterans’ affairs, environmental protection, and female empowerment in Central and South America. Recently, Orlando began working with Hispanics in Philanthropy’s communications and network development team. Orlando is incredibly excited to join ODI’s 2018 at the gracious invitation of the program’s Co-Chair, Dolly Wolf, and NoVa Professor, Lucy Holsonbake.

Richard Shadbolt
Richard Shadbolt

Richard Shadbolt is currently a freshman at Northern Virginia Community College, majoring in General Studies. He is attending college while serving in the military and is stationed with the 1/3 Infantry Regiment as a specialist in the Full Honors escort platoon. Richard serves at many private and public functions, such as Wreath Laying Ceremonies at The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and Funeral Ceremonies within Arlington National Cemetery. The skills learned while being apart of ODI will both aid his army career and his future endeavors. This opportunity is not without thanks to the many who stand before us, such as Dolly Wolf, who make this great event possible and the many others that are a part of bringing people together. Richard is proud to be a part of this One Day Immersion and will use its wealth of knowledge to its fullest in his future.

Saad Faisal
Saad Faisal

My name is Saad Faisal and I am a sophomore at Northern Virginia Community College. My major is General Studies, and I plan to transfer to Mason to get my Bachelors in Computer Science. I am passionate about developing software and currently working on a website that is going to provide a platform to learn coding for free. I am thrilled to attend this One-Day Immersion to learn more about public relations and expand my leadership skills. Communication is an essential skill that can sharpen my skills in leadership, and I am truly grateful to Dolly Wolf, and to the NVCC and PACE teams for giving me a chance to be a part of One Day Immersion.

Sylvia Canales
Sylvia Canales

Sylvia was born and grew up in a remote village in El Salvador and moved to the United States in 2010, not knowing a single word in English. Today she excels because of her vigorous dedication. She is currently a senior at Northern Virginia Community College, completing an associate degree in Social Science: Teacher Education. She has a great passion to teach which was ignited and grew during her Senior Project to work in Arlington Public Schools with Second Graders. She has also returned to El Salvador to compare teaching methods in different countries. She continues to volunteer for elementary public schools.

Currently, she works in a non-profit organization, a retirement home for people age 62 and older. There she is part of the team that host events for residents’ entertainment and informative. She is a positive, hardworking and dedicated young woman, who will contribute to society as an educator. Attending One-Day-Immersion is an enormous opportunity to learn from the most important cable industry’s figures. Sylvia looks forward to learning strategies to apply to her career and to growing in confidence.

Tarenthia Harris

Tarenthia D. Harris is a sophomore at Northern Virginia Community College. She resides in Alexandria, Virginia and is currently majoring in Music Education. She’s very passionate about music and hopes to inspire the world through her gifts. She is excited to be a part of One Day Immersion 2018 because she believes this experience will help promote personal growth and cultivate confidence and leadership skills. Harris would like to express great gratitude to Dolly Wolf for her dedication to impact the youth and to NOVA for allowing her to experience a movement such as ODI.

Veronica Weinstein

Veronica is a Senior at Pace University, graduating with a dual degree in Economics and Arts & Entertainment Management this upcoming May. She has had many internships in the entertainment industry at reputable companies such as VICE, Downtown Music Publishing, HBO, and currently Columbia Records. Veronica has also been a member of the Arts & Entertainment Industry Network, Universal Pictures at Pace, and P.A.C.E. Board since her Freshman year. She aspires to work in the music industry, preferably in publishing or licensing. She is extremely thrilled to be a part of the 2018 One Day Immersion Team!
